Family of Four Killed by Truck Crash

A family of four has been killed as the result of a tragic truck accident on a local highway. A woman traveling east on the highway in the middle of the afternoon drifted onto the shoulder in her truck then overcorrected, crossing the center line of the highway. Her truck crashed head-on into a car traveling the other direction carrying a family of four.

Killed in the accident were two people in their 50s, a 35-year-old woman and a one-year-old boy. When the accident occurred, both cars rolled and quickly became engulfed in flames. The woman driving the truck got out of her car and escaped the accident with only minor injuries. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
