Clinton Township Man Killed In Crash
On Tuesday, 60-year-old Gerald Shultis lost his life when his Ford Focus was hit by a Saab 97X SUV that was travelling northbound on Moon Road in Pittsfield Township. It is being reported that the crash occurred because the driver of the SUV ignored a flashing red light on East Michigan Avenue. The driver and passenger in the SUV were not hurt.
Losing a loved one in a fatal accident can leave a family feeling not only helpless and devastated, but frustrated and angry. Knowing that the incident could have been avoided altogether makes it that much more difficult to deal with. Fortunately, Michigan law offers legal recourse to family members of those who have lost their lives due to the negligence, recklessness or wrongdoing of others.
