Major Car Accident Keeps Officers Busy
A fatal car accident in Michigan kept officers busy last weekend as they freed several children and adult passengers from the wreckage.
According to police records, the car was heading south on a local road when it was hit by a minivan. When officers arrived on the scene, they found that the minivan was occupied by three children and two adults. While one of the children died at the scene of the accident, the two other children were brought to a local medical facility. They are believed to have been treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
While the accident is still under investigation, initial reports show that alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
