Pit Bulls Attack Woman As She Is Gardening

Yet another horrific story of a dog attack!  Yesterday, a Dearborn Heights woman was in her own backyard gardening when she was attacked by 2 pit bulls.  The severely injured woman was reportedly bitten all over and required hospitalization for treatment of her injuries.

Remember, In Michigan the dog owner will be held strictly liable for any injuries that another person sustains due to his or her dog's attack, if the victim was on public property or was lawfully on private property. Even if the dog had no previous aggressive behavior or had never attacked before, the dog owner will still be held liable.
