In Detroit, a bizarre drunk driving accident was reported last Thursday night after a drunk woman knocked over a gas pump and started a fire and also caused another person to sustain injuries.
Police responded to the auto accident at the Holiday gas station at 9:59 PM after someone reported that a vehicle was on fire. The learned that 42-year-old Gayleen Schulz-Mohamed exited the gas station , backed up, hit a few barricades and then pulled forward and crashed into another car. She then headed northwest and hit a gas pump and then another. When she struck the second pump, 29-year-old Jessica Endres was putting gas into her vehicle.
Endres reportedly suffered bruises, scrapes and a large gash on her arm. The gas pump started on fire while Schulz-Mohamed struck a third car before a gas station employee shut off the vehicle and jerked her out of the car.
