Car Crash Critically Injures One, Seriously Injures two

Around 2:50 a.m. Saturday morning, a 1998 Pontiac lost control while traveling southbound on Ann Arbor-Saline Road.  The car went off the road and crashed into a tree causing the two back seat passengers, a 26-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, to be ejected from the car.  The woman was taken by helicopter to the University of Hospital in critical condition.  The man was also taken to the University of Michigan Hospital with serous injuries.  Also seriously injured was the 20-year-old driver.  Apparently there was another front-seat passenger but that person fled the scene before officers arrived.  Police suspect that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
