Man And Pet Dog Attacked By Neighbor’s Pitbull

An unidentified Flint man was attacked by a neighbor's pitbull last Friday as he opened the door to his home around 7:30 a.m. near Tillinghast Place and Saginaw Street.  The pitbull bit the victim's forearm and also attacked his dog.  It is reported that the man was taken to McLaren Regional Medical Center where he was treated for puncture wounds, scratches, swelling and bruising.

A dog attack can be frightening as well as extremely painful. You may be left with permanent scars and may require physical therapy and continued treatment or surgery to avoid disfigurement. The emotional trauma associated with the incident can stay with you for life.

If you or a loved one was bitten by a dog, you may be able to work with an attorney to file a claim against the owner to recover financial compensation for your injuries. At Freedman & Freedman, your initial consultation is free. We handle dog bite cases throughout the metro Detroit area including Livonia, Canton, Plymouth, Dearborn, Farmington Hills, Birmingham, Oak Park, Troy and more.  We can meet with you in person, over the phone or can even travel to your home or to the hospital in order to discuss your case and what we can do for you.

Contact a Detroit dog bite lawyer at Freedman & Freedman today to talk about your claim and how you can bring the dog owner to justice.
