8 Year Old Boy Bitten In Face By Neighbor's Dog
Hunter Gale, an 8 year old boy in Bibb County, Georgia, is recovering from a dog bite to his face suffered Monday night at his neighbor's house.  It is reported that Gale went to visit a friend, Eric York, when York's pit bull inexplicably ran up and bit the boy shortly before 7 p.m.  The dog was reportedly familiar with Gale but still attacked and bit him even though unprovoked or threatened.  Gale suffered two (2) puncture wounds as a result of the dog bite.  One wound was on the right side of his face about an inch under his eye and the other to the left side of his mouth requiring stitches.  The dog was quarantined while York was cited for violating the local leash law and failing to inoculate his dog.

If you have been bitten by a dog, you can work with an experienced attorney to file a claim against the owner to recover financial compensation for your injuries. At Freedman & Freedman, your initial consultation is free. We can meet with you in person, over the phone or can even travel to your home or to the hospital in order to discuss your case and what we can do for you.  We handle dog bite cases throughout the entire metro Detroit area including Livonia, Redford, Westland, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, InksterPlymouth, Canton, Northville and Detroit.

A dog attack can be frightening as well as extremely painful. You may be left with permanent scars and may require physical therapy and continued treatment or surgery to avoid disfigurement. The emotional trauma associated with the incident can stay with you for life.

Contact a Detroit dog bite lawyer at Freedman & Freedman today to talk about your claim and how you can bring the dog owner to justice.
