Attorney Profiles

Mark H. Freedman

As the managing member of The Law Offices of Freedman & Freedman, I represent people and families every single day who have been injured by the negligence of others. With extensive experience in trying and settling complex personal injury claims, I fight day and night for my clients to get them the justice and full financial compensation they deserve. I personally meet with each client, and personally investigate each and every situation, so I can determine who is responsible and hold them accountable. And believe me, I will hold them accountable.

Each case we handle is unique so they require special care and handling. I want every person that we represent to feel special. I want them to feel as if their case is the only case that we are handling and to feel as if their case is the only case we care about. So, in order to accomplish this goal, we place an absolute premium on client communication and client trust. It is at the core of our firm values.

It is our approach to how we treat our clients that sets us apart from most other law firms. All too often we hear complaints from our clients about a prior negative legal experience with another law firm. I find it sad and disheartening to hear of lawyers who treat their clients in an impersonal way and with a lack of respect. We, however, are driven to be different from the others. We listen to you. We absolutely care about you. We have compassion for you. You will always have our respect. And you will always have a voice. I am often touched by clients when they tell us how they feel "cared for" by our firm. It is just doing "the small things" that really count the most.

I proudly received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a J.D. from Wayne State University in Detroit. As a member of both the State Bar of Michigan and the State Bar of Arizona, I am in a unique position to be licensed to practice in all State Courts in Michigan, all State Courts in Arizona, the United States District Court - Eastern District of Michigan, the United States District Court - Western District of Michigan, the United States District Court - Northern District of Ohio and the Federal 6th Circuit Court of Court Appeals. Given my extensive prior experience working and learning from some of the top trial lawyers in the United States, I am very familiar with personal injury laws throughout the country and have handled numerous cases in a number of states and courts. I have handled a wide variety of Plaintiff personal injury matters including automobile, truck and motorcycle accidents, premises liability accidents such as slip and falls, dog bites, class action cases and many others. In fact, my wife and I, who happens to also be my law partner, recently successfully negotiated a $1,000,000.00 settlement for clients in an automobile accident case.

When not working or volunteering in the community, I enjoy spending quality time with my wonderful wife and beautiful twin teenage daughters. I also enjoy bicycling, hiking, spinning, playing tennis and boating in the beautiful Michigan waters.

Mr. Freedman and his team routinely handle personal injury cases all throughout the State of Michigan and the State of Arizona.

Mary K. Freedman

As a member of The Law Offices of Freedman & Freedman, I represent people and families every single day who have been injured by the negligence of others. I am proud to be part of a husband and wife team that has so much experience in trying and settling complex personal injury claims. I love the challenge of helping my clients to get the justice and full financial compensation they deserve. As the mother of twin daughters, I feel a great deal of compassion for the so many wonderful people our firm has had the honor to represent throughout the years. Those clients truly become a part of our extended family. I like to tell people that I literally feel and understand their problems - not only as a seasoned and battle tested lawyer - but also from the unique perspective of a caring mom.

Without question, each and every case I handle has its unique characteristics and problems. I want every client to know that I am going to handle their case with the utmost care as if their case were my very own. Like my partner, who happens to be my husband as well, I place an absolute premium on client communication and client trust. It is truly at the core of our firm values.

It is our approach to how we treat our clients that really does set us apart from most other law firms. All too often we hear complaints from our clients about a prior negative legal experience with another law firm. We have set out to change this perception by being different, and, quite frankly, we are different. At our firm, you have a voice that will be listened to. You deserve our respect. You deserve our compassion. At our firm, we want to earn your trust each and every day.

I proudly received a B.A. in Marketing from Michigan State University in East Lansing and a J.D. from the Detroit College of Law in Detroit (which now ironically happens to be the Michigan State University College of Law). As a member of both the State Bar of Michigan and the State Bar of Arizona, I am in a unique position to be licensed to practice in all State Courts in Michigan and all State Courts in Arizona. I have extensive prior experience working and learning from one of the top trial lawyers in the State of Michigan, who now happens to be one of the most respected Judges in Genesee County, Michigan. I have also handled a wide variety of Plaintiff personal injury matters including automobile, truck and motorcycle accidents, premises liability accidents such as slip and falls, dog bites, class action cases and many others. In fact, my husband and I, recently successfully negotiated a $1,000,000.00 settlement for clients in an automobile accident case.

When not working or volunteering in the community, I enjoy spending quality time with my wonderful husband and beautiful twin teenage daughters. I also enjoy hiking, gardening, working out, bicycling, playing tennis and boating in the beautiful Michigan waters.

Mrs. Freedman and her team routinely handle personal injury cases all throughout the State of Michigan and the State of Arizona.
